Sherry Jackson has been promoted to Program Administrator

I am very pleased to announce that Sherry Jackson has been promoted into the Program Administrator's position for the CDC+ program. Ms. Jackson has been the acting Program Administrator over the last month or so and has done an excellent job in addressing the many transition issues that program has experienced over the last several months. Ms. Jackson has worked for the agency several years assisting with the CDC+ program and implementing the Florida Freedom Initiative Grant as well as researching and advising the agency on Medicaid work incentive policy and improvements regarding Medicaid and Social Security Benefits.

Ms. Jackson has a master's degree in Social Work and a bachelor's degree in Social Anthropology with a Business Minor. She is currently working toward a doctorate degree in Social work. Ms. Jackson along with the rest of the dedicated CDC+ program staff will be working diligently to achieve an effective and efficient CDC+ program for the Agency for Persons with Disabilities.
