TRAIN Florida APD Learner Accounts

APD is committed to providing essential and quality trainings to our internal and external providers.  The TRAIN Florida APD help and support web page has the training tools, information, and resources for managers to manage learners.  We encourage all Providers to frequently read the TRAIN Florida Announcements on the TRAIN Florida Home Page.

Please do not contact the Public Health Foundation (PHF) or the Florida Department of Health regarding TRAIN Florida website questions. They will not respond to your emails or telephone calls.

Provider Learner Accounts

Effective July 1, 2021, and until further notice, APD Providers are no longer required to submit the TRAIN Florida account creation spreadsheet. APD Providers can use these instructions to create their TRAIN Florida learner account.

Provider Learner Account Rosters

Providers can use these instructions to verify if the staff or new hire has a TRAIN Florida account.

  1. Login to TRAIN Florida
  2. Locate Hot Topics
  3. Click on the APD Provider Staff Roster link
  4. Next page, click APD Provider Staff Roster link
  5. Select your region

Providers who elect to have the APD LMS Support team upload their accounts may do so.  Click on the link below for instructions.  Please use the these instructions to verify if the staff or new hire has a TRAIN Florida account.

APD Non-Agency Trainer
If you are an APD Non-Agency Trainer, please read the instructions below and submit the upload spreadsheet to the APD LMS Support team.

APD Provider Staff

PLEASE DO NOT CREATE YOUR OWN TRAIN FLORIDA ACCOUNT.

The TRAIN Florida APD Support Team is currently working directly with your employer, our Providers, to help create TRAIN Florida learner accounts for staff members. You may want to check with your agency.

When your account is created, you will receive an automatic confirmation of account creation from the TRAIN Florida system. It will include an attachment to tell you how to log in to TRAIN Florida for the first time and instructions on how to locate, manage, and complete the APD-Required courses.

Note:
TRAIN Florida learners can only have one account. If you work for multiple provider agencies, contact the TRAIN Florida APD Team by email at: apd.lmssupport@apdcares.org, we will update your account with both agency’s information. All TRAIN Florida courses you complete in your account will be available/reported to both agencies.

APD Solo Provider with APD, or Agency Contact

If you are a Solo Provider with APD, or your Agency’s contact, your TRAIN Florida account maybe already created. please let us know, and provide your Provider ID number.

Provider Prospective Employees

If you are a Provider Prospective Employee waiting to be hired by a Provider Agency, the provider will send you the information and instructions to create your TRAIN Florida.

TRAIN Florida APD LMS Email Request Guidelines

Please do not contact the Public Health Foundation (PHF) or the Florida Department of Health regarding TRAIN Florida website questions. They will not respond to your emails or telephone calls.

  • All TRAIN Florida APD learners are encouraged to review the APD LMS Email Process.
  • An auto-reply is sent to each submitted email request.
  • The APD LMS Support team will process emails in the order they are received. Please allow a minimum of five business days to complete your request.
  • Please do not submit more than one email per request, or question. Your email will be addressed in the order it was received.
  • Email Request Format:
    • Email request must have a Subject
    • Email body must haveyour name, agency contact information, and text regarding your inquiry, comment or question
  • If you are an APD Provider or staff, please include your Provider ID number in the body of the email
