Cox Medical Center provides a variety of services to residents of Sunland. These services include laboratory and radiology services, personal physician, nursing, psychiatric and dental services. A variety of consultative and contractual agreements with area medical specialists provide many medical support services. Dermatology, gynecology, neurology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry, urology, physical and occupational therapy and speech pathology are all provided on-site. Whenever a patient has a medical issue for which the Medical Center has insufficient resources, the patient is referred to external practitioners and/or facilities suitable to meet his/her needs.
