Hurricane Dorian

I hope all of our employees, customers, Waiver Support Coordinators, providers, and stakeholders are safely weathering this dangerous storm. As strong winds and heavy rain continue to blanket areas of our state, please listen to your local emergency management officials and follow their direction. Please don’t risk your life or anyone else’s—safety is of utmost importance.
As we move into the recovery stage, we will count on everyone to help us check on our customers’ health and safety. Please refer to the APD Recovery Toolkit located on the APD website at apdcares.org, which we are keeping updated with information that will assist in finding recovery resources.
I am so appreciative of everyone’s hard work to protect lives through this dangerous hurricane. Your work is extremely valuable and meaningful. Thank you for all that you do.
