APD Communications Team Wins Award
The Capital Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association recently announced the winners of this year’s local Image Awards competition. The awards initiative honors Tallahassee’s most creative and effective public relations campaigns and projects.
The Agency for Persons with Disabilities earned recognition for the Disability Employment Awareness Month op-ed article by APD Director Barbara Palmer that was published in 12 newspapers statewide. APD received the Image Award in the category of Printed Tools of Public Relations – News Release, as well as a Judges’ Award, which recognizes maximum impact for minimum cost.
