Denise Arnold Scholarship Fund Set Up

Funds continue to be collected for a self-advocate scholarship grant named to honor former APD Deputy Director of Programs Denise Arnold who passed away on June 30, 2018. The grant will be awarded in September 2021 through a partnership the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council, Florida Association of Rehabilitation Facilities, and APD.

Denise Arnold worked for 31 years to make sure self-advocates and their families felt empowered and engaged. Denise’s strong advocacy and compassion for all individuals will be reflected in the future with the Denise Arnold scholarship grant.

For those wanting to contribute to the Denise Arnold Scholarship Fund, please send your tax-deductible donations no later than April 30 to the address below. Please make your check out to FDDC with a note in the memo line designating it to go toward the Denise Arnold Scholarship Fund.
