TaxWatch Productivity Award Nominations Due December 31
The TaxWatch Productivity Awards publicly recognize and reward state employees and teams whose work increases productivity. The submission should promote innovation to improve the delivery of services or save money for Florida taxpayers and businesses who work with the state of Florida.
The window to submit nominations is open now and closes on December 31. The online submission forms, FAQs, tips, and instructions are available at https://tpa.floridataxwatch.org. Winners will be announced in the Spring, and awards ceremonies will be scheduled for late Spring/early Summer.
Categories:
- Agency of the Year - agency/division/department/office (less than 5 employees) that, through the development or implementation of a new program or effort, has improved the quality of life or delivery of service to a significant number of Floridians
- Technology/Innovation - individual or group (no more than 5 members) that utilized or created new technological/innovative solutions to make the state more responsive to and/or effective for taxpayers
- Quality of Life - individual or group (no more than 5 members) that took remarkable steps to make Florida an even more attractive place to live, work, and play
- Service Delivery Improvement - individual or group (no more than 5 members) that dramatically improved the quality and efficiency of the delivery of service to taxpayers in any area of state government
Remember:
- Anyone can nominate themselves, a fellow state employee, or team of employees that meet the nomination criteria.
- Only full-time or OPS state employees are eligible; awards are limited to one individual award and/or one team award per person.
- A nomination cannot be edited after it has been submitted, so it is important to make sure names are spelled correctly and to include the full team.
- All APD submissions will be viewed by APD Communications staff once entered. If the nomination contains inaccurate information, it may be removed from consideration.
- Only PDF supporting documents will be accepted, no more than three supporting documents are allowed.
