Down Syndrome Conference
The National Down Syndrome Society is hosting a conference in Jacksonville on March 4 and 5 which will focus on the needs of aging adults with Down syndrome.
APD staff, waiver support coordinators, service providers, Family Care Council members, self-advocates, and other interested individuals are invited to participate in this event (either in person or virtually). These two days will be filled with updates on research on Down syndrome, as well as topics of interest among aging caregivers of those with Down syndrome.
Click here to view the flyer with more information about the activities on these two days. There is a registration fee, but you can use the code STATE to receive a discount on your ticket price. The fee has been waived for state employees.
