Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month is Here

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month across the nation. During this special month devoted to promoting the abilities of those APD serves, we ask for continued support from lawmakers.

APD and our partners support provider rate increases for direct care workers. We know that individuals on the waiting list hope lawmakers will approve additional funding for services because it will make a difference in their lives. The waiver provides long term benefits to people with disabilities and their families. Supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is what DD Month is all about.
