Highlights from Rish Recreation Area Reopening

On January 28, 2022, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) officially reopened William J. “Billy Joe” Rish Recreation Area in Cape San Blas after renovations due to Hurricane Michael damage. Stewardship of the park transferred to DEP from the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) on December 1, 2021.
