Orlando Magic Night

On April 5, the Orlando Magic partnered with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) to host the inaugural Orlando Magic ASL/Disability Inclusion Night. Individuals with unique abilities attended a jam-packed evening that included watching the Magic take on, and defeat, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Attendees received special recognition and took part in various festivities throughout the event and were able to take photos on the court. Many providers and customers showed their team spirit, wearing their favorite Orlando Magic gear.

Attendees expressed how much they enjoyed being part of the evening and getting to watch an NBA basketball game in person. For many customers, this was a first-time experience, and their joy was evident.

APD is looking forward to next year’s NBA season and is already in discussions with the Orlando Magic for additional Disability Awareness Nights, providing customers and providers with future opportunities to enjoy the festivities.
