Area 15 Family Care Council to Co-host September Family Event

The Area 15 Family Care Council and Stand Up For Independence (SUFI) are excited to co-host the Information Session for the Disability Community event. This free event will be held at the Port St. Lucie Community Center on September 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. Guest speakers will include SUFI self-advocates, the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, and the Florida Department of Education’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.

The evening will also include an opportunity for attendees to connect with providers and organizations that provide vital information and resources to families living in Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, St. Lucie counties.
