Children’s Week at the Capitol

Hundreds of children and families visited the Capitol March 26-April 1 in celebration of the 28th annual Children’s Week. Children’s Week Florida is the largest event held in the state that celebrates and honors its commitment to children, youth, and advocates. APD hosted an informational booth, where they shared information, resources, and answered questions for children, parents, teachers, advocates, and others.

Exhibitors from many sister state agencies, organizations, and businesses filled the Capitol’s courtyard with interactive displays, informational materials, and promotional items. Children enjoyed face painting, games, music, storybook village, snacks, and other activities. It was a wonderful day!

Children’s art was on display for this year’s 2023 Celebration of the Hands at the Capitol during Children’s Week.
