APD Participates in National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day

In honor of National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day on March 25, the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) participated in this year’s campaign #GoGreen4CP. APD employees across the state shared photos of them wearing green, the official color of cerebral palsy awareness.

March is National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month. Cerebral palsy is a group of movement disorders that affect a person’s ability to move and maintain balance and posture. The goal of National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month, started in 2006, is for individuals to come together to advocate for the Cerebral Palsy community.

Thank you to everyone that participated in this year’s National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day!
