Developmental Disabilities Defendant Program and Pathways Attend Career Fair

By Crystal Crowell

The Agency for Persons with Disabilities Developmental Disabilities Defendant Program (DDDP) and Pathways participated in the Florida State University (FSU) Health, Education, Law Enforcement, Public Service (HELPS) Career Fair on March 22, at the FSU Student Union Ballroom. DDDP/Pathways shared information about their programs, as well as the many possibilities and benefits of employment.

DDDP/Pathways spoke with over 30 students and answered questions about how they could use their degrees at the facilities. One common theme of the students that stopped by was an eagerness to help and make a difference. The event left us with an excitement for the future!

The HELPS Career Fair is held each year at FSU to attract students looking for careers in health care, government, education, law enforcement, public service, and non-profits. For more information, please contact HireANole@fsu.edu.
