APD Rocked Their Socks for World Down Syndrome Day
The Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) participated in Rock Your Socks on March 21 in support of World Down Syndrome Day. Not only did APD employees across the state participate, but they went BIG! We received and shared dozens of photos of fun and colorful socks from staff members throughout the state. Team members wore everything from mismatched socks to socks that looked like hot dogs, and everything in between! We even had our sister agency, the Department of Children and Families, participate to raise awareness and join in on the fun. Thank you to everyone who participated in such an important day to bring awareness to Down syndrome!
