APD Gets New Director

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently announced that Taylor Hatch will be the new director of the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). Hatch will officially begin her APD position on February 6.

Hatch is currently the Deputy Secretary of the Department of Children and Families (DCF). She also served as DCF’s Assistant Secretary for Economic Self-Sufficiency. Previously, she worked at the Department of Economic Opportunity as the Director of Workforce Services.

Hatch is a graduate of Florida State University. She served as president of the Junior League of Tallahassee in 2018. She is married and the mother of three children.
