Goodwill Band Brings Sweet Melodies to South Beach Jazz Festival

There were several performers on the docket, but all eyes were waiting for the outstanding Spirit of Goodwill Band. This was the first time that the band was invited to perform at the annual jazz festival, and boy were the members excited!
The Spirit of Goodwill Band is a music program to improve the social and recreational skills, community integration, and personal adjustments for people with disabilities. The group warmed up, took the stage, and dazzled everyone. They belted out several popular tunes that had the audience singing and dancing along The Spirit of Goodwill Band was pleasing to the ear and folks couldn’t help but smile as they performed. A great time was had by all!
