Tallahassee Brings the Greatest Show to Night to Shine

Each year Night to Shine gets better than ever! The Tim Tebow Foundation hosted its annual Night to Shine on Friday, February 10. This year, First Lady Casey DeSantis hosted special guests at the Governor’s Mansion as they got ready for Night to Shine! We appreciate all that the Governor and the First Lady do to support Florida families and to create such a wonderful experience to celebrate the incredible ladies and their exciting night.

Over 500 attendees, parents, and volunteers participated in Tallahassee’s Greatest Show. Due to tremendous community support, Tallahassee’s Night to Shine event has grown to be one of the largest in the nation.

Guests enjoyed dinner, dancing, and a red carpet. Dozens of individuals and families that APD serves attended the event and had a blast. The festivities also included hair and make-up styling, a petting zoo, and special appearances by Florida A&M and Florida State University cheerleaders. Each guest received their own crown during the event, honoring the Kings and Queens that they are.

The Tim Tebow Foundation helps sponsor the prom, along with Tallahassee’s Genesis Church. Hundreds of local volunteers, including APD team members, helped to make the night memorable by serving as buddies, red carpet paparazzi, and more.
