Provider Scorecard Description of Indicators

Adult Day Training Programs (ADT) are designed to provide meaningful daily activities for people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.  The Agency for Persons with Disabilities has developed an ADT scorecard that focuses on some of the most important indicators related to the provision of this service and associated outcomes.
The Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) is implementing a scorecard for Adult Day Training (ADT) providers as a way to improve service outcomes.  It is anticipated that additional or alternative indicators will be revisions to the scorecard as other data sources are identified to improve measures of provider performance.


    Indicator: The methodology employed to rank Adult Day Training (ADT) is based on two constructs:
  1. As consumers gain new skills and attain greater independence the cost of service intervention declines; and
  2. Delmarva quality assurance reviews provide a score for providers based on regulatory compliance focused on ensuring quality services.
