I am very proud of the work everyone has done and is continuing to do to support our customers and staff through this major disaster. |

| The Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD), Blind Services, and Vocational Rehabilitation recognized 12 businesses that hire and retain people with disabilities with an Exceptional Employer Award on October 4. The businesses from around the state were honored with plaques made by people with disabilities. |

All Former Carlton Palms Residents Transitioned to New Homes | |
| On October 6, the final resident of Carlton Palms moved into a new home they chose in the community. This person joins the other 190 people who have selected community-based homes around Florida or have returned to their home state. Carlton Palms has officially closed. |

 Rain or Shine, Pryslak is Ready to Serve | |
Christopher Pryslak has worked in the culinary department for nearly 20 years in his hometown at St. Petersburg General Hospital. He walks to work every day, where he washes the pots, pans, and dishes and delivers food trays to patients in the ICU. |

Important Dental Plan News from the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) | |
| All iBudget Florida customers will be required to use a dental plan as part of the Statewide Medicaid Managed Care (SMMC) program. Nearly all iBudget recipients will no longer receive dental services through iBudget and must enroll through the State Plan program in an SMMC dental plan. |
