Now in its 19th year—and the second-year honoring both employees and employers—the Exceptional Employment Awards is a joint effort by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, Vocational Rehabilitation, Blind Services, and other disability organizations to celebrate National Disability Employment Awareness Month.

Traditionally the annual Exceptional Employment event has highlighted and awarded businesses who employ Floridians with disabilities. In addition to awarding these exceptional businesses, we are also awarding the incredible employees who make up this diverse workforce. Celebrating their strides to independence while reaching critical milestones and raising awareness of employment opportunities for the disability community.
