Consumer-Directed Care Plus (CDC+)
Consumer Directed Care Plus (CDC+) is an offering within APD’s iBudget waiver that gives Floridians with developmental disabilities more control and flexibility over their care. Individuals electing to utilize CDC+ as their preferred pathway to services become employers and manage their own supports, resources, and care. Through this program, CDC+ consumers are empowered to choose their own pathway to possibilities.
Key Features of CDC+:
Participant Empowerment: Individuals are empowered to make decisions pertaining to their supports and have the flexibility to determine, choose, and pay for services through a monthly budget.
Choice of Service Provider: The program provides individuals with unique benefits such as the ability to select providers who are not on the Medicaid network and the ability to customize services to meeting individual care goals.
Supports: A trained CDC+ consultant is always available to provide guidance and assistance.
Management Options: Participants can choose to manage the program on their own or appoint a representative to assist in managing their budget and help make decisions regarding their care.
