EVV
EVV for Personal Supports is only for hourly service, not the 24-hour live-in service, correct?
-
Electronic Visit Verification is required for Personal Supports provided in the consumer's home. This includes Personal Supports provided at the Day rate. EVV is not required when services are rendered in an APD-licensed setting.Additionally, EVV is not required in the person’s own home if one of the following 3 criteria is met: The caregiver (or in the case of an agency delivering services, the employee of the caregiver) resides on the same premises as the individual to whom services are being provided seven days per week and has no other home of his/her own, The caregiver lives, works, and sleeps on the same premises as the individuals to whom services are being provided for five consecutive days a week for a period of 120 hours or more, or if the caregiver spends less than 120 hours per week sleeping and working on the premises, spends five consecutive nights residing on the premises.
Providers of Personal Supports and Respite who meet the EVV exemption requirements must ensure that service delivery documentation is submitted in iConnect.
