APD iConnect FAQ
Providers
EVV - Documentation
Can we electronically print records or must we manually print them? There is some concern over losing access to a record if the provider’s services are terminated. What if a provider is sued, audited, etc. and needs records? What if additional billing (since they have 365 days) needed to be done or claim adjusted after services are terminated? How would they meet requirement to keep records for five years?

Providers will still be able to bill up to a year from the date of service. Once claims in APD iConnect go live, providers will be able to submit claims without needing access to the consumer record. Ultimately, APD would have access to these records and could provide these requested records for the provider should they be audited. APD is discussing other options or issues related to record retention.
