EVV - Violations

Sometimes when I start delivery of an EVV service, the EVV mobile site doesn’t get my location exactly right. What happens if my entry shows that I am not at the exact address for the consumer? Is it OK if the locator is close by, but not exact?

  • Yes, it is fine as long as you are within 500 feet of the consumer’s address (or the address of the service). Sometimes a device’s GPS may be slightly inaccurate, and we have accounted for that in the system.
