EVV
What is EVV and what does it mean for Personal Supports providers?
- EVV stands for Electronic Visit Verification. It is a requirement of the 21st Century Cures Act, signed into federal law in December 2016, which requires electronic visit verification of "personal care services and home health care services" under Medicaid. APD has identified Personal Supports as a service that requires EVV. Providers of EVV services will have to ensure their equipment (and that of their direct service providers) meets the system requirements to use the APD iConnect EVV mobile application.
