EVV
Why must we use an EVV system?
- The 21st Century Cures Act was enacted on December 13, 2016. Section 1903(l) of the Cures Act requires Florida iBudget waiver service providers use EVV systems in 2020 for Personal Supports and Respite services that require an in-home visit, and in 2021 for Nursing. The CDC+ program will use an EVV system for In-Home Supports and Personal Care Assistance. EVV systems are meant to improve the quality of in-home services to people who rely on them and reduce fraud, waste, and abuse.
