Authorizations

How will providers receive authorizations and/or be notified of changes to/terminations of existing authorizations?

  • When providers log into APD iConnect, they can access their new and existing authorizations, as needed. Thus, they will be able to see the authorizations for the consumers they serve directly from their desktop. However, as a business courtesy, it is recommended that WSCs continue to contact providers to notify them of the changes before they occur. If WSCs communicate with the providers using a note within APD iConnect, the provider will be able to view those notes from the My Dashboard Screen.
