Will the Quality Improvement vendor (Qlarant) continue to conduct face-to-face interviews with providers?

  • The requirements of the Qlarant contract have not changed. The Qlarant reviewers will continue to be required to conduct on-site visits to complete face-to-face interviews with provider staff and consumers. However, the Qlarant reviewers will be better prepared since they will have access to provider records before the site visit. They will be able to assess quality of documentation by service type as well as billing via APD iConnect. This will allow the reviewers to focus more time on site to assess quality service delivery and outcomes for the individuals served.
