Claims

If a there is a change in providers, how will the former provider be able to access the consumer's record to submit billing?

  • Providers will not need access to the consumer record to submit claims. Thus, as long as the consumer service(s) has been documented, and the service date of the claim falls between the effective date and the end date of the authorization, providers will be able to submit claims.
