When writing a service log for a shift that was overnight (e.g., 11 p.m.-7 a.m.), does it have to have two logs -- one for 11 p.m.-12 a.m. and another for 12 a.m.-7 a.m.? Or will it recognize past midnight and calculate hours correctly?

  • Each day starts at midnight. A new Provider Documentation record (service log) should be created for the new day.
